Stemming from the long-groomed right-hand point breaks of Santa Barbara, Connor Coffin is known for his smooth and powerful approach. After stringing a series of strong results in 2015, Connor qualified for the 2016 WSL Championship Tour with a 9th place finish on the WSL Qualifying Series. Connor spent 6 strong years at the elite level, collecting various accolades such as a runner-up finish to John John Florence in 2016 at the MEO Rip Curl Pro in Peniche Portugal as well as a runner-up finish to Gabriel Medina in the 2021 Rip Curl Narrabeen Classic. In 2021 after a finishing 4th overall in the world, he competed for a world title in the WSL Finals at Lower Trestles.
